Gabriel Cobb dove into Creve Coeur Lake at the start of his second triathlon of the year May 21 at Creve Coeur Lake in Maryland Heights, Missouri. The 22-year-old triathlete, who also has Down syndrome, has competed in 13 of the athletic events that consist of swimming, biking and running.

Gabriel used the number 321 as his race number because people with Down syndrome have an extra copy of chromosome 21 on May 7 at St. Peters Rec-Plex.
Gabriel gave his father, Thomas Cobb, a high five while going through the finish line with members of the High School Triathlon Club on May 7 at St. Peters Rec-Plex. Club members run through the finish line together with the last member of the club to finish a particular race.
